김 예비후보는 6일 선거캠프에서 선거대책위원회 임명장 수여식을 열고, 선대위원들에게 임명장을 전달했다. 이날 행사에는 각계 인사와 지지자 등 약 120명이 참석해 선대위 출범을 함께 축하했다.
김 예비후보는 인사말에서 “이번 선거는 단순히 지방선거에 그치지 않고, 경북의 미래를 결정짓는 중요한 선택”이라며 “경북을 다시 대한민국의 중심에 세우고, 경제를 살리는 한편 미래 성장동력도 새롭게 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
임명장 수여식을 마친 뒤 김 예비후보는 경주시 주요 교차로에서 출근하는 시민들에게 인사를 건네며 현장 소통 행보를 이어갔다. 이어 경상북도 소상공인연합회를 방문해 소상공인들과 간담회를 갖고, 지역 경제 현안에 대한 다양한 의견을 직접 들었다.
이 자리에서 소상공인들은 “경기 침체와 소비 위축, 인건비 상승 등으로 경영 부담이 갈수록 커지고 있다”며 실질적인 지원 방안 마련을 요청했다.
김 예비후보는 “소상공인은 지역경제의 뿌리이자 민생경제의 중심”이라면서 “전통시장과 골목상권을 활성화하고, 소상공인 금융 지원을 늘리는 한편 판로 개척도 적극 돕겠다. 안심하고 경영에 집중할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다”고 약속했다.
김 예비후보는 앞으로도 도내 여러 지역을 돌며 현장에서 직접 소통하는 행보를 계속할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

I will create an environment where they can focus on their business with peace of mind."
Candidate Kim stated that he plans to continue touring various regions of the province and engage directly with the public.
