【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=김대현 대구 수성구청장 예비후보가 9일 인공지능(AI)을 기반으로 한 창업 및 일자리 정책 등 경제 공약을 내놓았다.
이날 김 예비후보는 청년과 기업, 소상공인을 중심에 두고 수성구를 ‘스마트 경제도시’로 만들겠다고 밝혔다. 그는 “청년과 기업인이 투자하고, 안정적으로 정착할 수 있는 환경을 조성하겠다”고 강조했다.

청년 지원 대책으로는 직업훈련 과정과 기업 연계형 인재 양성 프로그램을 넓히고, 청년 스타트업이 안정적으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 재정 지원을 강화할 방침이다.
특히 중소기업이 청년을 정규직으로 채용할 경우 지급되는 ‘청년일자리 도약 지원금’ 지원 수준도 대폭 높인다. 기존 월 최대 60만 원, 1년 지원에서 월 최대 80만 원, 2년 지원으로 확대하는 방안을 추진한다.
소상공인과 전통시장 활성화 방안도 포함됐다. 김 예비후보는 ‘소상공인 지원 주치의 센터’를 설치해 정기적으로 간담회를 열고, 현장의 어려움을 직접 듣겠다고 밝혔다. 또한 지역 대표 명품가게를 발굴해 성공 사례를 확산하겠다는 계획도 내놨다.
김 예비후보는 “AI와 교육, 재정 지원을 연계해 청년 일자리 창출과 기업 성장의 토대를 동시에 마련하겠다”며 “교육, 산업, 주거가 어우러지는 정주형 경제 구조를 통해 수성구의 미래 경쟁력을 높이겠다”고 말했다.
