대구한의대학교 미래라이프융합대학은 지난 1일부터 2일까지 대구 인터불고호텔 컨벤션홀에서 신입생 290명을 대상으로 입학식과 동기유발학기 프로그램 ‘칸트스쿨(Kant School)’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 성인학습자의 성공적인 대학 적응과 학습 역량 강화를 위해 마련됐으며, 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업과 연계한 평생·직업교육 확산 모델로 추진됐다. 행사에는 변창훈 총장을 비롯해 김하수 청도군수와 김광열 영덕군수 등 지자체 관계자들이 참석해 지역과 대학 간 협력 거버넌스의 의미를 더했다.
변창훈 총장은 축사를 통해 성인학습자의 새로운 도전을 환영하며 맞춤형 교육 지원 의지를 밝혔다. 또 글로컬대학30 사업과 K-MEDI 기반 지역혁신 모델을 통해 대학이 지역과 세계를 연결하는 혁신 거점으로 도약하고 있다고 강조했다.
김하수 군수와 김광열 군수도 축사를 통해 신입생들이 지역 발전을 이끌 전문 인재로 성장하길 기대한다고 전했다.
‘칸트스쿨’은 독일 철학자 임마누엘 칸트의 ‘Sapere Aude(스스로 생각할 용기를 가져라)’ 정신을 바탕으로 2019년부터 운영되고 있는 미래라이프융합대학의 대표 프로그램이다. 성인학습자의 대학 적응과 자기주도 학습 역량 강화, 진로 설계 지원을 목적으로 한다.
프로그램은 미래역량 특강, Holland 직업적성검사, AI 시대 진로 전략, LMS 활용 안내, 성인학습자 맞춤 학사제도 안내 등 대학 생활 적응 중심 내용으로 구성됐다. 특히 RISE 사업 평생교육지원센터 핵심 프로그램으로서 대학 적응–전공 심화–직업 역량–취·창업으로 이어지는 단계별 학습경로 모델을 구현했다.
대구한의대 미래라이프융합대학은 성인학습자 맞춤형 교육체계를 통해 학습 동기와 대학 소속감을 높이고 있으며, 이를 통해 중도탈락률 감소와 학업 성취도 향상도 기대하고 있다.
김진숙 미래라이프융합대학 학장은 “앞으로도 지역사회와 협력해 성인학습자 중심 교육 혁신과 평생교육 생태계 구축에 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

The program consists of content focused on adapting to university life, including special lectures on future competencies, the Holland Vocational Aptitude Test, career strategies in the AI era, guidance on using the LMS, and guidance on customized academic programs for adult learners. In particular, as a core program of the RISE Project Lifelong Education Support Center, a step-by-step learning path model was implemented, encompassing university adaptation, major enrichment, career skills, and employment/entrepreneurship.
Daegu Haany University's Future Life Convergence College is enhancing learning motivation and a sense of belonging through a customized educational system for adult learners, which is expected to reduce dropout rates and improve academic achievement.
