[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시가 지난해 상급기관 및 외부기관에서 주관한 각종 평가에서 55개 분야 수상과 상사업비 14억 2,200만원 확보라는 역대 최고 성과를 거두며 대외 경쟁력을 다시 한번 입증했다.
시는 지난해 성과를 이어 더 높은 성과 창출을 목표로 평가를 체계적으로 준비하고, 변화하는 평가 여건에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 10일 상급기관평가 대응전략 보고회를 개최했다.
민기식 부시장은 “상급기관 평가는 단순한 수상이 아니라 우리 시 행정역량을 객관적으로 보여주는 지표이자 대외적 신뢰를 높이는 기회”라며 “각 부서에서는 평가 일정과 세부 항목을 충분히 숙지하고 작은 부분까지 꼼꼼히 점검해 빈틈없이 준비해 달라”고 당부했다.
시는 앞으로도 평가를 행정 전반을 점검하고 개선하는 과정으로 삼아 강점은 더욱 강화하고 부족한 부분은 보완해 나갈 계획이다.

Last year, Geoje City achieved record-breaking results, winning awards in 55 categories and securing KRW 1.422 billion in awards funding from various evaluations conducted by higher-level organizations and external agencies, once again demonstrating its external competitiveness.
Building on last year's achievements, the city held a Higher-Organization Evaluation Response Strategy Report on the 10th to systematically prepare for the evaluations and proactively respond to changing evaluation conditions.
The Deputy Mayor stated, "Higher-level evaluations are not simply awards; they are objective indicators of our city's administrative capabilities and an opportunity to enhance external trust." He added, "Each department should be fully aware of the evaluation schedule and detailed items, meticulously review even the smallest details, and prepare thoroughly."
The city plans to continue to utilize the evaluations as a process for reviewing and improving the overall administration, further strengthening strengths and addressing weaknesses.
