[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함안군은 국가보훈부의 ‘현충시설 기념관 활성화 사업’ 공모에 관내 3개 기념관이 선정돼 국비 4,770만 원을 확보했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이번 공모사업에는 손양원기념관, 이태준기념관, 함안독립운동기념관이 선정됐으며, 기념관별로 다양한 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.
손양원기념관(산돌손양원기념사업회 이성구 회장)은 전시 안내 해설사 운영, 우리동네 현충시설 활성화 시키기, ‘내가 그린 멋진 손양원’ 어린이 사생대회 및 전시회 3개 사업으로 2,530만 원을 확보했다.
이태준기념관(대암이태준선생기념사업회 김동균 이사장)은 스크래치보드와 아크릴무드등 학습자료를 제작하는 체험 및 행사프로그램으로 사업비 1,170만 원을 확보했다.
함안독립운동기념관(군북3·1독립운동기념사업회 박용순 회장)은 물병 꾸미기와 물병 가방 그림 그리기 등 체험활동으로 사업비 1,070만 원을 확보했다.
함안군 현충시설 기념관은 민간 위탁 방식으로 운영되고 있으며, 이번 공모사업에는 각 기념관의 위탁 운영기관이 직접 사업계획을 수립해 참여했다.
각 기념관은 확보한 사업비를 활용해 애국지사 손양원 목사, 독립유공 이태준 지사, 함안 3·1독립만세운동을 기념하고 선양하는 다양한 체험활동과 프로그램을 운영해 지역주민과 방문객에게 보훈의 가치를 널리 알릴 계획이다.
