산청군 ‘안부살핌 소포우편 서비스’ 추진

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군이 ‘안부살핌 소포우편 서비스’ 추진을 위해 산청우체국 및 산청군지역사회보장협의체와 업무 협약을 체결했다고 11일 밝혔다.

이 사업은 행정안전부 공모사업인 ‘2026년 읍면동 스마트 복지·안전서비스 개선 모델 개발 지원사업’에 선정되어 국비 1,000만원, 우체국공익재단 700만원 등 총 1700만 원의 예산을 확보해 추진한다.

협약에 따라 산청군은 대상 가구 선정과 안부 물품 제공 및 복지 지원을 수행하며, 산청우체국은 집배원 네트워크를 활용해 물품 배달과 대상자의 안부 확인 결과를 회신한다. 

산청군지역사회보장협의체는 사업 추진에 필요한 물품 관련 비용을 지원하며 힘을 보탤 계획이다.

특히, 집배원이 방문 시 체크리스트를 통해 위기 상황을 점검해 군에 보고하면, 읍면 복지 담당 공무원이 즉시 맞춤형 복지 서비스를 연계하게 된다.

군은 지난 2025년에도 사업을 통해 110명에게 총 1320회의 안부 확인 서비스를 제공해 높은 만족도와 고독사 예방 효과를 거두었다.

산청군 관계자는 “우체국, 지역사회보장협의체와의 유기적인 협력을 통해 위기가구를 조기에 발굴하겠다”며“민관이 함께하는 복지 안전망을 지속적으로 강화해 더욱 따뜻하고 안전한 산청을 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
