브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 현대백화점이 수면을 주제로 한 이색 행사를 진행한다.
현대백화점은 오는 13일부터 22일까지 판교점 10층 토파즈홀에서 ‘파인 슬리핑 엑스포(Fine Sleeping EXPO)’를 연다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 현대백화점과 슬립테크 기업 에이슬립이 공동으로 주최하며, 삼성전자·세라젬·카카오헬스케어·경동나비엔 등 총 10개 기업이 참가해 수면과 관련된 다양한 콘텐츠를 선보인다.
‘입면(Sunset)’, ‘숙면(Midnight)’, ‘기상(Sunrise)’ 등 세 가지 공간으로 구성된 행사장에서는 다양한 슬립테크 기기들을 체험해 볼 수 있다.
안마의자와 제습환기청정기 등이 전시되고, 수면 환경을 조절해주는 ‘AI 숙면 매트’, ‘슬립허브’ 등 다양한 기기들을 체험해 볼 수 있다. 직접 혈당을 측정해볼 수 있는 혈당 측정기 체험 공간도 마련됐다.
다양한 이벤트도 진행한다. 행사장에는 80만 구독자를 보유한 수면 전문 유튜버인 ‘브레이너제이’가 상주해 숙면에 필요한 요소와 숙면의 원리에 대해 설명하는 프로그램이 진행되고, 참가 기업들의 상담 부스도 운영된다.
현대백화점 관계자는 “최근 수명 시간 감소와 스트레스 증가 등으로 수면의 질을 중시하는 소비 트렌드가 확산되면서 숙면을 돕는 슬립테크에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있어 이번 행사를 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 분야와의 협업을 통해 다채로운 고객 경험을 제공할 것이다”고 말했다.
