브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 첨단전략산업 인프라 조성을 위해 1조원 규모의 ‘KB국민성장인프라펀드’에 5000억원 출자 약정을 했다고 12일 밝혔다.
‘KB국민성장인프라펀드’는 1조원 규모의 블라인드 펀드로, KB자산운용이 펀드 설립과 운용을 담당하고 KB국민은행을 비롯해 KB손해보험, KB라이프가 참여하는 등 전액 KB금융그룹 자금으로 조성된다.
이번 펀드는 대규모 펀드 운용 시 발생할 수 있는 손익 변동성을 완화하기 위해 업계 최초로 ‘영구폐쇄형 인프라펀드’ 구조를 도입한 것이 특징이다. 이를 통해 국내 인프라 금융시장에서 대규모 펀드임에도 안정적인 운용 기반을 확보했다.
국내 디지털 인프라, 에너지 인프라, 재생에너지 대전환, 지역균형성장 SOC 분야 등에 투자할 예정으로, 생산적 금융 생태계 조성을 통해 첨단전략산업 경쟁력 강화와 지역 성장 및 일자리 창출 등에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
주요 투자 대상 사업으로는 ‘용인 반도체클러스터 집단에너지 사업’이 검토되고 있으며, 향후에도 대한민국 성장 잠재력을 높일 수 있는 메가 인프라 프로젝트를 발굴해 나갈 예정이다.
KB국민은행은 국민성장펀드 1호 투자처로 선정된 ‘신안우이 해상풍력 프로젝트’ 금융주선과 ‘KB국민성장인프라펀드’ 출자를 시작으로 메가 인프라 프로젝트 금융 지원을 확대하고, 2030년까지 KB금융그룹의 93조원 규모 생산적금융 공급 계획 중 국민성장펀드 10조원 공급 목표 달성에도 기여할 방침이다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “KB국민성장인프라펀드는 첨단전략산업과 국가 핵심 인프라 투자 확대를 통해 대한민국의 미래 성장 기반을 강화하기 위한 것”이라며 “앞으로도 생산적금융을 바탕으로 국가 경제의 지속 가능한 성장과 산업 경쟁력 강화를 지원해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
