이날 전달식에는 서태원 가평군수를 비롯해 친환경 쌀 생산단지 회원 및 유관기관 관계자들이 대거 참석해, 지역 농업 발전과 자원순환형 농업 실현에 대한 강력한 의지를 다졌다.
올해 가평군이 친환경 쌀 재배농가에 공급하는 '가평혼합유기질비료' 물량은 총 282톤(20kg 기준 1만 4,070포대) 규모다. 해당 비료는 가평군 친환경 학교급식 생산단지에 소속된 6개 읍·면, 37개 단지 내 429농가에 순차적으로 보급될 예정이다.
특히 주목할 점은 지원되는 모든 비료가 센터 내 생산시설에서 100% 자체 생산됐다는 것이다. 군은 지난 2024년 70톤을 시작으로 2025년 285톤, 올해 282톤을 연이어 공급하며 자체 생산 및 지원 체계를 확고히 다지고 있다.
이번에 공급되는 가평혼합유기질비료는 가공 계분을 30% 함유해 일반 유박비료의 약점인 초기 생육 지연 문제를 획기적으로 보완했다. 속효성과 완효성을 두루 갖추고 있어 벼의 초기 활착을 돕고 토양의 유기물 함량을 높여 근본적인 지력을 개선하는 데 탁월한 효과가 기대된다.
