[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시의 사계절을 수놓는 꽃들이 피어나는 농업기술센터 꽃 양묘장이 시민들을 위한 배움터이자 힐링 쉼터로 변신한다.
김해시농업기술센터는 오는 14일부터 시민 1,000여명을 대상으로 ‘꽃 양묘장 견학·체험교육’의 문을 연다고 13일 밝혔다.
이미 입소문만으로 3월 교육이 전 회차 조기 마감될 만큼 뜨거운 인기를 얻고 있는 이번 프로그램은 꽃 재배 생산 현장과 과학영농 실증시범포(농작물시험온실)를 직접 둘러보며 농업의 공익적 가치를 몸소 체험하는 커리큘럼으로 짜였다.
특히 참가자의 눈높이에 맞춘 쉽고 재미있는 작물 재배 이론 설명과 세심한 해설이 더해져 참여자들의 만족도가 매우 높다.
이번 교육은 혹서기를 제외한 3월, 6월, 9~11월에 걸쳐 총 42회 진행되며, 평일뿐만 아니라 주말 교육도 병행해 직장인, 가족들의 참여 기회를 넓혔다.
교육 신청은 김해시민이라면 누구나 ‘김해시 누리집 공공예약포털’에서 선착순으로 가능하다. 예약은 매월 전월 마지막 주 월요일 오전 9시에 오픈되며, 쾌적하고 효율적인 운영을 위해 회당 인원은 20명 내외로 제한된다.
조규범 농업기술센터 소장은 “꽃 양묘장은 단순한 생산시설을 넘어 시민들에게 심리적 안정과 정서적 풍요를 주는 공간”이라며 “특히 어린이를 동반한 가족들이 많이 참여해 꽃향기 속에서 돈독한 가족애를 확인하는 소중한 시간을 갖길 바란다”고 말했다.
