【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 디지털 기술을 활용한 ‘AI 시니어 안심케어’ 사업을 본격 확대 추진한다.
오는 3월 27일 시행되는 돌봄통합지원법에 대응해 지역 맞춤형 통합돌봄 체계를 한층 강화하기 위한 조치다.
AI 시니어 안심케어는 고령화와 1인 가구 증가 등 늘어나는 돌봄 수요에 대응하기 위한 ‘증평형 통합돌봄’의 핵심 사업 중 하나다.
군은 지난해 시범 운영을 통해 안정성을 점검했으며, 올해부터는 현장 출동 서비스를 결합해 한층 강화된 돌봄 안전망을 구축한다.
사업 대상은 독거노인과 노인부부가구, 장애인 가구 등 상시 돌봄이 필요한 취약계층 100가구다.
주요 서비스는 △휴대전화 움직임 기반 자동 SOS 알림 △고독사 방지를 위한 AI 자동 안부 전화 △복약관리 기능 △심혈관 체크 등 AI 헬스케어 서비스 등이 제공된다.
특히 올해 사업은 24시간 긴급 대응 체계를 갖춘 것이 특징이다.
대상자의 휴대전화 움직임이 48시간 이상 감지되지 않거나 안부가 확인되지 않을 경우 보안 전문업체인 KT텔레캅 출동요원이 현장을 방문해 안전 여부를 직접 확인한다.
시범사업에 참여했던 한 어르신은 “혼자 있다가 쓰러지기라도 하면 누가 알까 늘 걱정이었는데, 이제는 기계가 나를 살피고 이상하면 바로 사람들이 와 준다니 마음이 놓인다”며 “든든한 보호자가 생긴 느낌”이라고 말했다.
