브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 30년 경력의 언론인이자 전 청와대 출입기자인 맹인섭 씨가 강훈식 대통령 비서실장의 사퇴로 공석이 된 충남 아산을 국회의원 보궐선거 출마를 선언했으나, 조국혁신당 공천관리위원회로부터 부적격 판정을 받았다.
맹 씨는 14일 성명서를 통해 공심위의 결정을 받아들일 수 없다며 강하게 반발했다. 그는 "이번 결정은 공정성과 민주적 절차를 심각하게 훼손한 것으로 국민의 선택권을 침해하는 부당한 행위"라고 주장했다.

한편, 국회의원 보궐선거는 제9회 전국동시지방선거가 열리는 오는 6월 3일에 함께 치러진다.
