[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 1919년 그날의 뜨거운 함성을 기억하고 순국선열의 불굴의 의지를 계승하기 위한 제20회 3·13 밀양만세운동 추모식 및 기념행사가 13일 밀양관아 일원에서 개최했다.
밀양향토청년회 주관으로 열린 이번 행사에는 독립유공자 유족을 비롯해 시민, 학생, 기관·단체장 등 1,000여 명이 참석했다.
참가자들은 조국 독립을 위해 목숨을 바친 선열들의 희생정신을 가슴 깊이 새기고, 3·13 밀양만세운동의 역사적 의미를 되새기는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

기념식 후에는 독립유공자 유족과 학생, 시민들이 밀양관아를 출발해 밀양교를 거쳐 삼문동 둔치까지 시가행진을 펼쳤다. 참가자들은 선열들이 걸었던 그 길을 함께 걸으며 만세삼창을 외쳐, 독립을 향한 그날의 열망을 재현했다.
