서호영 국민의힘 대구 동구청장 예비후보, 선거사무소 개소

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=서호영 국민의힘 대구 동구청장 예비후보가 본격적인 선거전에 뛰어들었다. 

서 예비후보는 14일 오후 3시, 대구 동구 방촌동 신협 건물 7층에 마련된 선거사무소에서 개소식을 열고 지지자들과 함께 출정의 뜻을 다졌다.

이날 행사장에는 지역 정치인을 비롯해 주민, 지지자 등 약 600명이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다. 

최은석(대구 동구·군위갑) 국회의원, 이진숙 전 방송통신위원회 위원장, 황영규 동구갑 고문, 김재우·박소영 시·구의원 등 주요 인사들이 자리했다. 강대식 국회의원은 일정상 참석하지 못했으나 영상으로 축하 인사를 전했다.

서 예비후보는 인사말에서 “민생부터 챙기는 구청장이 되겠다”며 “멈춘 동구의 심장을 다시 뛰게 하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다. 특히 팔공산 관광 활성화와 지역 경제 회복, 그리고 생활 밀착형 민생 정책 추진 뜻을 강조했다.

최은석 의원은 축사에서 “선거는 공정하게 치러져야 한다”고 말하며 선의의 경쟁을 당부했다. 이진숙 전 위원장은 “기초자치단체장의 역할이 시민의 삶에 매우 크다”며 서 후보의 전면 행보에 힘을 실었다.

서 예비후보는 “늘 현장에서 주민들과 소통하겠다”며 “생활과 직결된 현안부터 직접 챙기는 구청장이 되겠다”고 각오를 다졌다.

He particularly emphasized his intention to revitalize tourism in Mt. Palgong, restore the local economy, and implement policies closely aligned with daily life. In his congratulatory remarks, Assemblyman Choi Eun-seok stated, “Elections must be conducted fairly,” and urged for fair competition. Former Chairperson Lee Jin-sook lent her support to Candidate Seo’s full-scale campaign, noting, “The role of the head of a local government is crucial to the lives of citizens.”

Preliminary Candidate Seo expressed his determination, saying, “I will always communicate with residents on the ground,” and “I will become a district mayor who personally takes care of pending issues directly related to daily life.”
