한중도시우호협회는 3월16일치 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 16일 오전 중국 상하이시 숭장(松江)구 소재 상하이외국어대학을 방문해 궈수융(郭樹勇) 국제관계 및 공공사무대학 서기를 면담했다.”고 전했다.
이 자료에 따르면, 이 면담에는 협회에서 지도위원장인 유성훈 서울 금천구청장과 진티싱(金惕行) 상하이지회장, 류융춘(劉永春) 비서장, 리쥔융(李軍勇) 한중경제협력센터 상하이 대표 등이 참석했으며, 대학에서는 왕싱싱(王星星) 교수가 배석했다.

권기식 회장은 "중국의 저명한 국제관계학자이자 시진핑 사상 연구자를 만나 한중 관계에 대해 대담하게 돼 기쁘다. 한중 관계는 한중 두나라의 번영을 촉진하고 한반도와 동아시아의 평화를 지키는 기본축이다. 한중 우호와 협력을 위해 함께 협력하자."고 말했다.

상하이 외국어대학 공공사무대학은 중국의 외교 인력을 양성하는 전문대학이다. 궈수융 서기는 푸단대 박사 출신으로 중국의 저명한 국제관계 학자이며, 시진핑 사상 연구의 권위자이다.
한편 권기식 회장은 15일 오전 중국 저장(浙江)성 자싱(嘉興)시 스웨터산업협회를 방문해 쉬웨이(徐偉) 회장, 선원핑(沈文平) 전 자싱시 외사판공실 주임 등과 협력 방안을 논의했다. 양측은 연내 자싱시에서 한중 패션산업 교류회를 열고 김구 영화 공동제작을 추진하기로 했다.
이어, 권시식 회장은 유성훈 서울 금천구청장 청장과 함께 김구 선생의 피난처인 다이칭(戴靑)별장을 방문해 김구 선생 동상에 헌화했다.
