[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 ‘국제물류진흥지역 지정 및 육성에 관한 특별법’의 국회 통과를 환영하며 동북아 물류플랫폼 조성사업 추진에 속도가 붙을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
홍태용 김해시장은 16일 김해시청 프레스센터에서 브리핑을 열고 “특별법 통과로 동북아 물류플랫폼 조성사업을 추진할 제도적 기반이 마련됐다”며 “정부와 경남도, 부산시 등 관계기관과 협력을 강화해 김해를 대한민국을 대표하는 물류거점도시로 성장시키겠다”고 밝혔다.
홍 시장은 또 “김해가 미래 100년을 준비하며 구상해 온 새로운 성장 동력이 국가 제도 안에서 추진될 수 있게 됐다는 점에서 의미가 크다”며 법안을 대표 발의한 민홍철 국회의원에게 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
