[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 반려동물과 시민이 함께 이용할 수 있는 반려동물 테마공원 ‘김해댕댕파크’의 정식 개장에 앞서 21일부터 25일까지 5일간 시범운영을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 시범운영은 공원 시설과 운영 전반을 사전에 점검하고 이용 시민들의 의견을 수렴해 보다 안전하고 쾌적한 운영 환경을 마련하기 위해 추진된다.
시범운영은 하루 3시간 동안 진행되며 김해시 홈페이지를 통한 사전예약 방식으로 참여할 수 있다.
참여 시민들은 반려견 놀이터와 산책로 등 공원 시설을 이용할 수 있으며, 현장 설문 등을 통해 이용 만족도와 개선 의견도 수렴할 예정이다.
김해댕댕파크는 총사업비 52억 원을 투입해 15,412㎡ 규모로 조성됐으며 반려견 놀이터, 산책로, 주차장, 관리시설, 휴게공간 등 다양한 편의시설을 갖추고 있다.
반려견 놀이터에서는 목줄 없이 자유롭게 활동할 수 있으며 산책로와 휴게공간은 목줄을 착용한 상태에서 이용할 수 있다.
최근 반려동물 양육 가구 증가로 반려견과 함께 이용할 수 있는 공간에 대한 시민들의 관심이 높아지고 있는 가운데, 김해시는 반려동물과 시민이 함께 이용할 수 있는 환경을 마련하기 위해 김해댕댕파크를 조성했다.
김해시는 이번 시범운영 결과를 바탕으로 운영 방식과 시설 관리 등을 보완한 뒤 오는 4월 3일 정식 개장할 계획이다.
