<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시가 다자녀가정의 생활비 부담을 덜고 지역 농가와의 상생을 위해 야심 차게 추진 중인 ‘포천시 다자녀가구 포천쌀 지원사업’이 시행 초기부터 시민들의 폭발적인 호응을 얻고 있다.
포천시는 지난 13일 기준으로 지원 대상인 2자녀 이상 가구 5,048가구 중 3,197가구가 접수를 마쳐, 1분기 만에 신청률 63.3%를 달성했다고 17일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 포천시의 대표적인 인구정책으로, 시는 지난 1월 NH농협 포천시지부 및 관내 9개 지역 농·축·인삼협과 업무협약을 맺고 지원 확대를 위한 탄탄한 협력 체계를 구축했다. 특히 올해부터는 기존 ‘4자녀 이상’이던 지원 대상을 ‘2자녀 이상 가구’(막내가 만 18세 이하)로 대폭 완화해 수혜의 폭을 넓혔다.
