인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 체계는 학생맞춤통합지원센터를 단일 창구로 운영하여 효율성을 극대화했다.
귀국 학생의 사안 접수부터 임시 TF팀 소집, 부서 간 협력을 통한 맞춤형 사례 관리, 교육청과 학교 현장의 실행 지원까지 전 과정을 일원화해 관리한다.
주요 지원 사항으로는 국내 입국 후 어려움을 겪는 복합·고위기 학생을 대상으로 유·초·중·고 취학 및 전·편입학 행정 지원, 정신건강 및 심리·정서 회복 지원, 초등 방과후 학교 및 돌봄 지원 등을 신속하게 추진할 방침이다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “중동 상황으로 입국하는 학생들이 일상의 평온을 되찾고 원활하게 교육받을 수 있도록 하겠다”며 “교육청 각 부서와 학교, 지자체가 유기적으로 협력하여 맞춤형 통합지원을 이어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
