브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 중장거리 시외·고속버스용 프리미엄 타이어 신제품 ‘스마트 투어링 AL31(Smart Touring AL31)’을 국내 시장에 출시했다고 18일 밝혔다.
기존 제품인 ‘스마트 투어링 AL22’과 비교해 마일리지, 젖은 노면 제동력, 주행 안정성, 회전저항 등 핵심 성능을 한층 강화한 점이 특징이다.
기존 제품 대비 마일리지 성능을 30% 강화했으며, 북미 시장에서 검증된 최신 ‘디커플링 그루브(Decoupling Groove)’ 기술을 적용해 타이어 숄더부 편마모 현상을 예방했다.
또한, 마모 진행도에 따라 트레드 형상이 변화하는 ‘히든 그루브(Hidden Groove)’, ‘T.W.E.S(Tread Wear Equalizer Stepper)’ 패턴 기술로 균일한 마모를 유도하고 돌끼임을 최소화, 타이어 수명을 향상시켰다.
해당 제품은 국내 시외∙고속버스 타이어 메인 규격인 ‘12R22.5’으로 출시된다.
‘스마트 투어링 AL31’은 한국타이어의 트럭∙버스 타이어 전문 매장 ‘TBX(Truck Bus Express)’에서 구매 가능하다.
