【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 교육발전특구사업의 일환으로 2025년 7월부터 운영 중인 ‘행복버스’를 오는 19일부터 개편 운행한다고 밝혔다.
‘행복버스’는 관내 아동들이 이동의 제약 없이 청소년센터, 결초보은 문화누리관, 다함께돌봄센터 등 지역 돌봄기관의 방과 후 프로그램에 참여할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이다.
지난해에는 이용 신청을 받아 매월 노선을 조정하는 방식으로 운영했으나, 올해부터는 이용 편의성 향상을 위해 수요가 많은 구간은 정해진 노선에 따라 순환 운행하고, 그 외 지역은 신청을 받아 노선을 조정하는 방식으로 운영한다.
총 3대의 버스로 운행되며, 1호차와 2호차는 보은읍 죽전리·장신리·교사리·삼산리·이평리 구간을 중심으로 지난해 운행 데이터를 반영한 고정 노선을 따라 운행된다. 해당 노선은 별도 신청 없이 돌봄기관 이용 아동이 이용할 수 있다.
