특히 보통교부세 산정 시 인구밀도와 아동·청년 비율의 가중치 등 지역의 특성을 충분히 반영할 수 있도록 현행 지표의 개선이 필요하다고 목소리를 높였다.
이어 지역 현안 사업인 △보강천 파크골프장 확장 △공공임대형 지식산업센터 건립 △광덕소하천 정비사업 등 8개 사업 79억 원 규모의 특별교부세 지원을 요청하기도 했다.
이재영 군수는 “지역의 특수성을 반영한 합리적인 재정 지원 체계 마련이 절실하다”며 “정부예산 확보를 통해 군민의 삶의 질을 높이고 지역 발전을 앞당기는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
