전문 강사단 10팀 ‘학교로 찾아가는 실습’ 운영, 하반기 상설 교육장 병행
성인·소아 맞춤형 CPR 및 AED 사용법 등 실전 대응 역량 강화 주력

세종특별자치시교육청이 학교 내 응급상황 발생 시 학생들의 생명을 보호하고 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 교직원 대상 응급처치 교육 지원을 대폭 강화한다.
학교보건법에 따라 모든 교직원은 매년 응급처치 교육을 의무적으로 이수해야 한다. 이에 세종시교육청은 교육의 실효성을 높이고 현장의 부담을 줄이기 위해 체계적인 지원 대책을 마련했다고 밝혔다.
세종시교육청은 우선 10개 팀으로 구성된 전문 강사단을 편성해 학교로 직접 찾아가는 ‘맞춤형 응급처치 교육’을 지원한다.
주요 교육 내용은 성인과 소아를 구분한 심폐소생술(CPR) 방법, 자동심장충격기(AED) 사용법 등 실습 위주로 구성됐다. 특히 학교급별 특성을 고려하여 유치원이나 초·중·고등학교에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 응급 상황별 대응 요령을 함께 전수한다.
부득이한 사정으로 소속 학교의 교육을 이수하지 못한 교직원을 위한 배려도 잊지 않았다. 시교육청은 오는 9월부터 11월까지 총 25회에 걸쳐 상설 교육장을 운영하여 미이수자가 없도록 촘촘한 교육망을 가동할 계획이다.
교육이 마무리된 후에는 학교 현장의 만족도 조사와 운영 결과 평가를 실시한다. 이를 통해 도출된 개선 사항은 내년도 교육 운영 계획에 적극적으로 반영하여 교육의 질을 지속적으로 높여갈 방침이다.
