(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시 보건환경연구원이 오는 12월까지, 시민 건강 보호와 쾌적한 실내환경 유지를 위해 관내 주요 다중이용시설 157개소와 대중교통차량 2개 노선을 대상으로 실내공기질 오염도 검사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
인천시 보건환경연구원에 따르면, 다중이용시설은 어린이집·의료기관 등 중점관리시설 119개소와 대규모점포·실내주차장 등 자율관리시설 38개소가 대상이며, 대중교통차량은 인천지하철 1·2호선을 대상으로 혼잡시간대와 비혼잡시간대로 구분해 법정 기준 준수 여부를 점검할 예정이다.
검사 항목은 ‘실내공기질 관리법’에 따른 미세먼지(PM-10), 초미세먼지(PM-2.5), 이산화탄소(CO2), 폼알데하이드(HCHO), 일산화탄소(CO), 총부유세균 등 총 6개 항목이며, 기준을 초과할 경우 관련 법령에 따라 개선명령 등 필요한 행정조치가 이뤄진다.
연구원이 지난해 관내 다중이용시설 160개소를 대상으로 실시한 실내공기질 조사 결과, 평균 농도가 미세먼지 33.6㎍/㎥, 초미세먼지 18.4㎍/㎥, 이산화탄소 586ppm, 폼알데하이드 22.1㎍/㎥, 일산화탄소 1.3ppm, 총부유세균 209CFU/㎥로 나타났다.
특히, 2026년부터 도서관, 박물관, 미술관, 대규모점포 및 학원 등에 적용되는 초미세먼지 유지기준이 기존 50㎍/㎥ 이하에서 40㎍/㎥ 이하로 강화됨에 따라, 해당 시설에 대해 관리와 점검을 한층 강화할 예정이다.
