경산시는 복사꽃이 만개하는 시기에 맞춰 ‘제10회 경산 반곡지 복사꽃길 걷기 행사’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 시민과 관광객이 함께 봄 정취를 즐기고 건강한 걷기 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 올해 행사에서는 ‘제1회 반곡지 복사꽃 어린이·학생 사생대회’가 처음으로 함께 열려 눈길을 끈다. 사생대회는 어린이와 학생들이 반곡지와 복사꽃 풍경을 자유롭게 그림으로 표현하는 프로그램으로, 가족 단위 방문객들에게 새로운 참여형 콘텐츠를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
행사 참가자들은 반곡지 일원을 따라 조성된 복사꽃길을 걸으며 봄의 정취를 만끽할 수 있으며, 복숭아 묘목 심기, 꽃떡 만들기, 양궁 체험 등 다양한 체험 프로그램과 부대행사도 함께 진행된다.
김만중 추진위원장은 “올해로 10회를 맞은 반곡지 복사꽃길 걷기 행사가 지역을 대표하는 봄 축제로 자리잡고 있다”며 “사생대회를 통해 가족이 함께 참여하는 문화 행사로 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 반곡지는 봄철 복사꽃 명소로 알려져 매년 많은 방문객이 찾는 경산의 대표 관광지로, 이번 행사를 통해 지역 관광 활성화에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
