<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시가 병원 문을 나선 퇴원환자들이 의료와 돌봄 사각지대에 놓이지 않도록 지역 핵심 의료기관들과 촘촘한 통합 돌봄망 구축에 나섰다.
포천시는 지난 19일 국민건강보험공단 포천지사를 비롯해 경기도의료원 포천병원, 일심재단 포천우리병원, 범문의료재단 진요양병원 등 4개 기관과 ‘퇴원환자 통합돌봄 연계지원 활성화’를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 성황리에 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 건보공단 포천지사장을 비롯해 각 의료기관의 병원장들이 직접 참석해 뜻을 모았다. 이들은 오는 3월 27일 본격적인 시행을 앞둔 「돌봄통합지원법」에 선제적으로 발맞춰, 퇴원환자를 위한 연계 지원을 대폭 강화하고 지역 중심의 지속 가능한 선진 돌봄 체계를 완성하는 데 굳건한 상호 협력 의지를 다졌다.
이번 협약에 따라 5개 기관은 환자가 퇴원한 이후에도 자신이 살던 익숙한 동네에서 꼭 필요한 의료 및 돌봄 서비스를 단절 없이 원스톱으로 제공받을 수 있도록 긴밀한 연계 핫라인을 가동한다.
시는 이를 통해 의료적 개입과 돌봄의 필요도가 높은 퇴원 환자들이 지역사회로 안전하고 빠르게 복귀하고, 가족과 함께 안정적인 일상생활을 온전히 회복할 수 있도록 행정적·제도적 지원을 아끼지 않을 방침이다.
