원주시는 오는 3월 30일부터 5월 29일까지 무주택 청년들의 주거 안정을 돕기 위한 ‘2026년 청년월세 지원’ 사업의 신규 신청자를 본격적으로 모집한다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 지원 사업은 기존에 운영되던 ‘청년월세 한시 특별지원’을 안정적인 계속사업으로 전격 전환한 것이다. 선정된 청년에게는 생애 1회에 한해 월세 실비를 최대 20만 원씩, 최장 24회차(24개월)까지 파격적으로 지원한다. 단, 기존 한시 특별지원을 통해 이미 24회차 혜택을 모두 소진한 대상자는 이번 지원에서 제외된다.
지원 자격은 부모와 별도로 거주하는 만 19세부터 34세(1991년~2007년생) 이하의 무주택 청년이다. 엄격한 소득 및 재산 기준이 적용되며, 청년 독립가구는 중위소득 60% 이하 및 자산 1억 2,200만 원 이하, 원가구는 중위소득 100% 이하 및 자산 4억 7,000만 원 이하를 모두 충족해야 한다. 본인의 자격 여부는 ‘복지로’ 누리집이나 ‘마이홈포털’을 통해 제공되는 자가 진단 서비스로 쉽게 확인할 수 있다.
올해 신청은 3월 30일부터 5월 29일 오후 4시까지 진행된다. 지원을 희망하는 청년은 온라인 ‘복지로’ 누리집을 이용하거나, 본인 주소지 관할 행정복지센터를 직접 방문해 접수하면 된다.
