【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군농촌활성화지원센터는 「2026년 단양군 마을활동가 양성교육」을 지난 3월 17일부터 19일까지 3일간 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육에는 농촌마을에 관심 있는 주민 20여 명이 참여했으며, 매일 저녁 18시 30분부터 21시 30분까지 총 9시간에 걸쳐 진행됐다.
교육은 농촌지역개발사업에 대한 기초소양을 갖춘 주민 활동가를 육성하고, 이들이 마을 현장에서 실질적인 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
과정은 단계별로 체계적으로 구성됐다.
마을활동가의 역할과 필요성, 공동체 우수사례 소개를 시작으로 마을자원 발굴과 사업기획서 작성 실습, 발표와 진행 역량 강화를 위한 스피치 교육까지 이론과 실무를 병행해 교육 효과를 높였다.
교육에 참여한 한 주민은 “막연하게 마을을 위해 활동하고 싶다는 생각은 있었지만 방법을 몰라 고민이 많았다”며 “이번 교육을 통해 사업 기획과 주민 소통 방법을 배우며 자신감을 얻는 계기가 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.
금상수 단양군농촌활성화지원센터장은 “마을활동가는 주민과 행정을 연결하는 중요한 인적 자원”이라며 “이번 교육을 통해 발굴된 활동가들이 각 마을에서 주민 참여를 이끌고 공동체 활성화에 기여하길 기대한다”고 말했다.
이어 “앞으로도 주민 수요와 현장 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 교육을 지속 운영해 농촌지역의 자생적 발전 기반을 강화해 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편 단양군농촌활성화지원센터는 마을활동가 양성교육을 비롯해 다양한 주민 역량강화 프로그램을 운영하며 단양군 농촌공동체의 지속 가능한 발전을 지원하고 있다.
