세종시 연기면 주민자치회와 고운동 주민자치회가 23일 오전 10시 연기면 눌왕리 일원에서 자매결연 교류활동의 일환으로 ‘행복나눔 감자심기 행사’를 진행했다.
양 자치회에 따르면 이번 행사는 자매결연을 맺은 연기면-고운동 주민자치회 간 지속적인 교류를 활성화하고, 주민 참여형 공동체 활동을 통해 협력 기반을 강화하고자 마련됐다.
이날 행사에는 양 주민자치회 위원과 관계 공무원 등 30여 명이 참여했으며 사전에 준비된 농지에서 감자 심기를 하며 상호 교류와 화합의 시간을 가졌다.
양 자치회는 향후에도 감자 재배와 관리를 공동으로 진행하며 교류를 이어갈 계획이다.
또,식재한 감자는 오는 6월 수확해 연기면 관내 경로당에 기부함으로써 지역사회의 나눔 문화 확산에도 기여할 예정이다.
이공근 연기면 주민자치회장은 “이번 행사를 통해 주민자치회 간 교류를 더욱 활성화하고, 수확물 나눔으로 지역 어르신들께 도움이 되기를 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 공동체 활동을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 연기면과 고운동 주민자치회는 지난 2021년 자매결연을 맺고 다양한 교류사업을 추진하며 지역 간 협력과 상생 발전을 도모해 왔다.
