(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천 서구가 24일, 지역 여성의 경제활동 활성화하기 위해 ‘경력보유(단절)여성 구직활동비 지원사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
서구에 따르면, 오는 4월 30일까지 취업 준비에 어려움을 겪고 있는 경력보유(단절)여성을 대상으로 구직활동에 필요한 비용을 지원한다.
지원대상은 서구에 1년 이상 거주한 30~54세 경력보유(단절) 여성 50명으로, 1인당 최대 30만 원의 구직활동비를 지원할 예정이다.
지원금은 취업 준비를 위한 교육비, 자격증 취득비, 면접활동비 등 구직활동에 필요한 비용으로 사용할 수 있으며, 신청자는 관련 증빙자료 제출을 통해 사후 정산 방식으로 지급받게 된다.
이번 사업은 경력보유(단절) 여성의 경제적 부담을 완화하고, 지속적인 구직활동을 지원함으로써 지역 내 여성의 고용 확대에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
서구 관계자는 “구직활동비 지원사업을 통해 임신·출산·육아 등으로 경력이 단절된 여성들이 다시 사회에 진출할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”며 “앞으로도 여성의 경제활동 참여 확대를 위한 다양한 정책을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
