대전광역시 내 사회·노인·장애인 복지관들이 한자리에 모여 사각지대 없는 촘촘한 돌봄망을 만들기 위한 연대와 협력을 선언했다.
대전시사회서비스원은 지난 23일 대전 중구 대전기독교종합사회복지관에서 관내 39개 복지관 관계자들과 함께 ‘2026년 3종 복지관 사업 설명회 및 교류회’를 개최했다.
이번 교류회는 복지 현장의 핵심 주체들이 모여 각 분야별 주요 사업과 비전을 공유하고, 유기적인 협력 체계를 다지기 위해 마련됐다.
행사에는 이장우 대전시장을 비롯해 김제선 중구청장, 김인식 대전시사회서비스원장과 지역 내 사회·노인·장애인 복지관 협회장 등 복지계 리더와 종사자 100여 명이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다.
그동안 대전시사회서비스원은 소외되는 이웃이 없도록 민간과 공공이 연대하는 통합돌봄 기반을 닦는 데 주력해 왔다. 참가자들은 복지관 간의 경계를 허물고 현장의 경험을 융합할 때 비로소 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 완성도 높은 복지 서비스가 가능하다는 데 뜻을 같이했다.
이날 설명회에서는 오는 27일 시행을 앞둔 ‘의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률’에 대한 심도 있는 분석이 다뤄졌다. 정태훈 대전시사회서비스원 통합돌봄부 차장은 법안의 핵심 취지와 더불어 통합지원 대상자 선정 및 관리 방향, 유관 기관 간의 실질적인 공조 체계 구축 방안을 조명했다.
이어진 세션에서는 사회복지 영역, 노인복지 영역, 장애인복지 영역 등 복지 영역별 대표 기관장들의 주제 발표가 이어졌다.
복지 현장의 최일선에서 땀 흘리는 종사자들을 향한 격려도 쏟아졌다. 이장우 대전시장은 축사를 통해 "복지 종사자 여러분은 시민의 일상을 지탱하는 가장 든든한 버팀목이자 시정의 동반자"라며 현장의 헌신에 깊은 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
