군에 따르면 지난해 증평의 조혼인율(인구 1000명당 혼인 건수)은 5.3건으로, 충북 평균(4.6건)을 웃돌며 도내 1위를 기록했다.
전국 조혼인율이 4.7건으로 상승한 가운데, 증평은 2024년 4.8건에서 한 단계 더 올라서며 상승 흐름을 이어갔다.
