【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청과 서울대학교 교육연구소는 24일, 도교육청에서 학생의 건강한 성장 지원과 학부모의 올바른 교육관 정립을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 미래 교육환경 변화에 대응하고 대학의 연구 역량을 지역 교육 현장에 접목해 교육의 질을 높이기 위해 마련됐으며, 전국 시·도교육청 가운데 처음으로 서울대학교 교육연구소와 추진하는 협력이라는 점에서 의미가 크다.
양 기관은 협약을 통해 ▲미래사회 준비를 위한 교육정책 모델 개발 ▲자녀교육 및 학생 진로교육 관련 교육 콘텐츠 제공 ▲학부모 대상 교육 및 교육 참여 프로그램 개발 ▲서울대학교 개발 교육프로그램 활용 연구 협력 등을 공동 추진한다.
특히 서울대학교 교육연구소는 축적된 연구 성과를 바탕으로 학부모 맞춤형 교육 프로그램을 제공하고, 학생 성장을 위한 인적·물적 자원 교류를 지원한다.
오헌석 서울대학교 교육연구소장은 “인공지능 시대를 살아갈 학생들에게는 자기주도적으로 진로를 설계하는 역량이 중요하다.”라며 “학부모 또한 자녀의 성장 과정에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 올바른 진로 지도를 할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 필요하다.”라고 말했다.
