【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군농업기술센터는 지난 23일 귀농 연수생 및 선도 농가와 2026년 신규농업인 현장실습 교육 약정서를 체결하고 사전교육을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 선도농가 3명과 귀농 연수생 3명이 참석했다.
신규농업인 현장실습은 신규 귀농인에게 체계적인 영농기술을 제공하고 초기 시행착오를 줄여 안정적인 농촌 정착을 돕기 위한 사업이다.
선도 농가와 귀농 연수생 간 협약을 통해 현장에서 직접 선도 농가의 영농기술 및 노하우를 배우는 방식으로 진행된다.
특히 올해는 농촌과 도시의 이점을 동시에 갖춘 증평의 지역적 특색으로 귀농 희망자의 관심이 높아지면서 사업 규모도 확대됐다.
농업기술센터는 관련 예산을 증액해 지원 규모를 지난해 1팀에서 올해 3팀으로 늘렸다
이번 현장실습 교육은 약 5개월 동안 진행되며 연수생들은 선도 농가로부터 부추, 벼, 토마토 등 실습 희망 작목의 고품질 생산기술을 중심으로 교육을 받게 된다.
교육 기간 연수생에게는 월 최대 80만 원, 선도 농가에게는 월 최대 40만 원의 교육훈련비도 지원된다.
농업기술센터 관계자는 "예산 확대와 효율적인 교육 운영으로 귀농인들이 증평에 안정적인 농업기반을 조성할 수 있도록 현장에서 실무 중심의 지원에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
