보은군, ‘26년 스마트 과수원 특화단지 조성사업 추진

군은 지난해 농림축산식품부가 주관한 ‘2026년 스마트 과수원 특화단지 조성 공모사업’에 충청북도 최초로 선정됐으며, 2026년부터 2028년까지 3년간 총사업비 48억 8000만 원(국비 15억 원, 도비 4억 4000만 원, 군비 10억 3000만 원, 자부담 19억 1000만 원)을 투입해 삼승면 일원에 약 26ha 규모의 스마트 과수원 특화단지를 조성할 계획이다.

기계화·무인화가 가능한 평면형 과수원 조성을 목표로 1년 차에는 이지플, 골든볼, 착색계 후지 등 우수 품종 전환과 과원 정비를 집중 지원하고, 2~3년 차에는 재해예방시설과 ICT 융복합 시설장비, 무인화 시설 등을 단계적으로 구축해 스마트 과수원으로 고도화할 예정이다.
