계양구 인재양성장학교육재단, 2026년 상반기 장학생 모집

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) (재)인천광역시 계양구 인재양성장학교육재단이 25일, 지역의 미래 인재 양성을 위해 ‘2026년 상반기 장학생’을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

재단에 따르면, 이번 신청 대상은 2026년 3월 25일 공고일 기준 본인 또는 학부모가 계양구에 1년 이상 주소를 두고 거주 중인 청소년과 대학생이다. 

이번 상반기에는 대학교 신입생 대상 진학 장학생, 대학교 재학생 대상 학업우수·드림 장학생, 인천 관외 대학교 기숙사 또는 학교 인근 월세 거주자를 지원하는 거주비 지원 장학생, 가정형편이 어려운 저소득층의 8~19세 청소년과 초·중·고등학생을 대상으로 하는 희망 장학생을 선발한다. 

특히, 희망 장학생은 각 동 행정복지센터장의 추천을 통해 선발하며, 개별 신청은 받지 않는다.

신청은 4월 9일부터 4월 17일까지로, 이메일 또는 등기우편으로 제출하면 되며, 선발 결과는 6월 말에 발표될 예정이다.

한편, (재)계양구 인재양성장학교육재단은 2019년부터 청소년 및 초·중·고·대학생 921명에게 약 10억 6천만 원을 장학금으로 지원했으며, 많은 분들의 장학금 기탁으로 올해는 상·하반기와 글로벌 장학생 선발을 포함해 총 3회에 걸쳐 약 3억 원 규모의 장학사업을 추진할 계획이다.

The Incheon Metropolitan City Gyeyang-gu Talent Development Scholarship Foundation announced on the 25th that it is recruiting "scholarship recipients for the first half of 2026" to foster future talent in the region.

According to the Foundation, eligibility for this application is limited to youths and university students whose parents or the applicants themselves have resided in Gyeyang-gu for at least one year as of the announcement date of March 25, 2026.

For the first half of this year, scholarships will be selected for the following categories: Advancement Scholarships for university freshmen; Academic Excellence and Dream Scholarships for current university students; Housing Support Scholarships for students living in dormitories at universities outside Incheon or renting apartments near the school; and Hope Scholarships for elementary, middle, and high school students and youths aged 8 to 19 from financially disadvantaged low-income families.

In particular, Hope Scholarship recipients are selected through recommendations from the heads of each Dong Administrative Welfare Center; individual applications are not accepted.
