브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 이마트가 고물가 속 외식가격 부담을 낮추기 위해 반값 수준의 김밥을 선보인다.
이마트는 ‘반전가격 3980 두줄김밥’을 출시했다고 26일 밝혔다. 두 줄 가격이 3980원으로 시중에서 김밥을 보통 한 줄 구매할 수 있는 수준이다. 한국소비자원 참가격에 따르면 2026년 2월 서울 기준 김밥 한 줄 가격은 3800원이다.
저렴하면서도 외식을 대신할 만큼 높은 상품성을 위해 두 가지 김밥으로 구성했다. 두 가지 김밥은 ‘매콤 어묵김밥’과 ‘원조김밥’이다.
매콤 어묵김밥은 매콤달콤한 양념장에 촉촉함을 더한 어묵볶음이 메인인 김밥으로, 어묵볶음을 김밥 전체 중량의 18% 가량 할애했다.
원조 김밥은 스모크햄, 계란지단, 당근채, 시금치무침, 우엉조림 등 기본 김밥의 재료들을 탄탄히 갖춘 기본형 김밥이다.
매콤어묵김밥의 매콤한 맛을 원조김밥이 중화해 매운맛과 기본 맛을 모두 만족시킬 수 있도록 했다.
이마트 키친델리 이슬 바이어는 “높아진 고객의 입맛을 만족시키기 위해 초저가 상품은 통상 가장 기본형 메뉴로만 구성한다는 한계를 넘어, 알찬 상품성은 물론 두 가지 맛을 즐길 수 있도록 반전김밥 상품을 기획했다”며 “가격 부담은 덜고 만족도는 높일 수 있는 차별화된 반값 라인업을 지속 확대할 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 이마트는 반값김밥 외에도 다양한 먹거리 행사를 진행한다.
대표품목으로 오는 31일까지 SNS 등에서 큰 반응을 보인 ‘봄동 겉절이 비빔밥(238g)’ 키트를 신세계포인트 적립 시 정상가 7980원에서 2000원 할인한 5980원에 판매한다.
또한, ‘프리미엄 모둠초밥(18입)’을 신세계포인트 적립 시 2만3980원에서 4000원 할인한 1만9980원에 판매하고, ‘생생치킨(10호/팩)’은 이달 26일 단 하루, 2600원 할인한 7380원에, ‘소이소스 윙봉(팩)’은 3000원 할인한 9980원에 판매한다.
