<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 우상호 더불어민주당 강원특별자치도지사 예비후보가 ‘원주·횡성권 현장 정책투어’ 2일 차인 26일, 횡성군에 위치한 ‘KCL e-모빌리티캠퍼스’를 방문해 지역 미래 산업 육성 방안을 논의했다.

횡성 KCL e-모빌리티캠퍼스는 국내 최대 규모의 e-모빌리티 통합 시험평가 인프라를 갖춘 곳으로, 경상용 특장 시작차 제작 지원을 비롯해 배터리 결함 및 안전성 분석, 전자파 적합성 시험·평가 등을 수행하고 있다.

이날 현장에서 우 예비후보는 센터 관계자들과 모빌리티 산업 현황을 점검하고, 이를 향후 로봇 산업의 핵심 분야인 ‘피지컬 AI’로 확장하는 방안에 대해 심도 있는 의견을 나눴다.
