<브레이크뉴스 홍천 = 김일웅 기자> 홍천군이 농촌 사회의 고령화와 영농철 극심한 인력 부족 현상으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 농가를 구제하기 위해, 이달부터 오는 11월까지 ‘농작업 대행 지원사업’을 본격적으로 운영한다고 밝혔다.
홍천군농업기술센터가 주관하는 이번 사업은 70세 이상 고령 농업인을 비롯해 여성농업인, 장애인 등 직접 영농에 종사하고 있으나 신체적 여건 등으로 농작업 수행에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있는 취약계층 농업인을 실질적으로 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
지원 대상은 홍천군민이거나 홍천군 관내에 농지를 보유한 농업인 중, 농업경영체 등록이 정상적으로 확인된 자에 한한다. 센터는 원활한 사업 추진을 위해 지난 2월부터 사전 예약을 통해 지원이 시급한 농가의 접수를 받고 있다.
지원되는 작업 분야는 경운, 로터리, 배토, 벼 이앙, 벼 수확, 잡곡 수확 등 핵심 농작업 전반이다. 지원 가능한 작업 면적은 각 작업별 300평 이상에서 3,000평 이하 규모이며, 콩이나 율무 등 잡곡 수확의 경우 0.1ha 이상부터 신청이 가능하다.
