<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 대한민국월남참전자회 강원특별자치도지부 횡성군지회가 지역 사회의 안보 의식을 굳건히 다지고 회원 간의 화합을 도모하는 뜻깊은 자리를 마련했다.

월남참전자회 횡성군지회는 26일 횡성KT빌딩 4층 대회의장에서 ‘2026년 대한민국월남참전자회 강원특별자치도지부 횡성군지회 정기총회’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 열린 정기총회에는 월남전 참전 회원들을 비롯해 관내 주요 기관 및 단체장 등 약 100여 명이 대거 참석해 자리를 빛냈으며, 조직의 결속을 다지고 향후 운영 방향을 심도 있게 논의했다.
특히 이번 행사에서는 정기총회와 더불어 ‘안보결의대회’가 함께 열려 그 의미를 더했다. 참석자들은 안보결의대회를 통해 과거 참혹했던 전쟁의 참화를 가슴 깊이 재인식하고, 국가 안보의 중요성과 자유민주주의 수호 의지를 강력하게 고취하는 결의를 다졌다.
