장대진 전 경상북도의회 의장과 김대철 전 대한명인회 경북지회 지회장, 관계자 5명은 지난 25일 이철우 예비후보 선거사무소를 방문해 제9회 전국동시지방선거에서의 압승을 기원하며 지지 의사를 밝혔다.
이들은 지지선언문을 통해 “수도권 과밀화와 지방소멸이라는 국가적 위기 속에서 경북을 이끌 리더는 결단력과 추진력을 갖춘 검증된 인물이어야 한다”고 강조했다.
지지 이유로는 ▲통합신공항과 영일만항을 통한 지방시대 실현 ▲AI 중심 산업 재편과 대규모 투자 유치 전략 ▲정치적 신의와 책임감을 갖춘 리더십 등을 제시했다.
