<브레이크뉴스 영월 = 김일웅 기자> 영월군이 침체된 지역 상권에 새로운 활력을 불어넣고 청년들의 안정적인 지역 정착을 돕기 위해 ‘청년 창업육성 지원사업’ 참여자를 대대적으로 모집한다.
이번 사업은 영월군과 함께 성장해 나갈 역량 있는 청년 (예비)창업자를 적극 발굴하여, 지역 내 청년 창업 생태계를 활성화하고 고용 창출 효과를 극대화하기 위해 마련됐다.
모집 대상은 18세 이상 45세 이하의 청년 (예비)창업가다. 예비창업자의 경우 공고일 기준 사업자등록이 되어 있지 않아야 하며, 보조금 정산일로부터 1년 이내에 반드시 영월군에 사업자등록을 완료해야 한다. 기존 창업자의 경우 공고일을 기준으로 창업 후 7년 이내인 청년이라면 누구나 신청할 수 있다.
올해 지원사업은 ‘청년 메이커스(하드웨어·소프트웨어)’ 및 ‘창업육성 스케일업(하드웨어)’ 등 지역 여건을 고려한 총 5개 맞춤형 유형으로 세분화되어 운영된다. 최종 선정된 청년 창업가에게는 사업 유형과 규모에 따라 최소 1천만 원에서 최대 4천만 원까지의 파격적인 창업 자금이 차등 지원될 예정이다.
사업 신청은 3월 27일부터 오는 31일 오후 5시까지 진행되며, 영월군 청정지대(봉래산로 5)에 직접 방문하여 접수해야 한다.
영월군 관계자는 “신청자들의 창업가 역량, 사업의 타당성 및 향후 성장 가능성 등을 종합적이고 투명하게 평가하기 위해 1차 서류심사와 2차 발표심사를 거쳐 4월 중 최종 대상자를 확정할 계획”이라며, “혁신적인 아이디어를 가진 청년들의 많은 관심과 도전을 바란다”고 전했다.
