<브레이크뉴스 원주 = 김일웅 기자> 원주시가 지역 청년들의 생생한 목소리를 시정에 적극 반영하고 맞춤형 정책을 발굴하기 위해 ‘청년정책네트워크’를 새롭게 재정비했다.

원주시는 지난 25일 청년라운지 이스트에서 ‘제2기 원주시 청년정책네트워크 신규 위원 위촉식 및 전체회의’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 신규 위원을 대거 추가 위촉함으로써 청년정책네트워크의 운영을 한층 활성화하고, 2026년도 활동 방향과 세부 계획을 참여 청년들과 폭넓게 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.
원주시 청년정책네트워크는 청년들의 다양한 의견을 수렴하고 실효성 있는 정책을 직접 제안하는 대표적인 청년 참여 기구다. 이날 15명의 신규 위원이 새롭게 위촉됨에 따라, 원주시 청년들의 시정 참여 기반과 소통 창구가 대폭 넓어질 것으로 기대된다.

청년정책네트워크는 올해 기획, 정책, 홍보 등 각 분과별 회의를 집중적으로 활성화해 실질적인 정책 제안 기능을 강화할 방침이다. 아울러 워크숍, 교류회, 성과보고회 등 다채로운 프로그램을 병행해 청년 위원 간의 끈끈한 소통과 협력을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
