원주시는 지난 25일 원주기업도시에 위치한 재생의학 전문 바이오 제약기업인 ㈜비알팜을 전격 방문해, 김석순 대표를 비롯한 주요 임직원들과 현장 간담회를 성황리에 개최했다고 26일 밝혔다.

이번 간담회는 지역 기업이 실제 산업 현장에서 겪고 있는 다양한 애로사항과 건의 사항을 시장이 직접 청취하고, 양질의 지역 일자리 창출 및 지역 경제의 지속 가능한 발전 방향을 심도 있게 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 방문한 ㈜비알팜은 연어 생식세포에서 분리 추출한 DNA 분절체 ‘PDRN’을 핵심 원료로 활용해, 피부 재생 및 주름 개선 의약품과 기능성 화장품 등을 전문적으로 생산하는 유망 바이오 기업이다.
