10여 년간 방치돼 온 대덕특구 출연연 공동관리아파트 부지를 딥테크 육성 거점으로 전환하는 사이언스 비즈니스 메카(SBM) 사업이 본격 추진 단계에 들어섰다. 더불어민주당 황정아 의원은 26일 국가과학기술연구회(NST)로부터 사업 현황을 보고받고, 부지 재정비와 사업화 기반 마련 절차가 속도를 내고 있다고 밝혔다.
NST는 조만간 이사회 의결을 거쳐 자체 예산 4억 원을 투입해 사업부지 내 재정비촉진계획 변경 용역을 발주할 예정이다. 또 올해 안에 출연연 공동관리아파트 개발 기본계획과 예비타당성조사 연구용역을 마무리해 구축형 연구개발 사업추진심사까지 이어간다는 계획이다.
