한국국토정보공사(LX)와 한국전력공사가 전력설비 위치정보의 정확도를 높이기 위한 협력에 나섰다. 생활과 맞닿아 있는 전주의 위치를 정밀하게 측량해 지적정보와 연결하고, 이를 바탕으로 설비 관리의 디지털 전환을 앞당기겠다는 구상이다.
LX공사는 26일 서울 서초구 한전아트센터에서 한국전력공사와 전력설비 위치정확도 개선사업을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약은 한전이 관리하는 전력설비 가운데 전주를 정밀 측량해 지적도와 연계하고, 보다 체계적인 관리 기반을 마련하는 데 초점이 맞춰졌다.
두 기관은 앞으로 지적측량기술을 활용한 전력설비 위치 측정, 지적도면 기반 점유현황정보 구축, LX맵을 활용한 관리체계 고도화, 관련 기술협력과 공동사업 발굴 등을 중점 추진할 계획이다.
