지방선거 전 본회의 통과 사활… 국토위 소위 상정 및 심사 당부
“여야 공약이었던 행정수도 완성, 이제는 실질적 법제화로 증명해야”
최민호 세종특별자치시장이 26일 국회를 직접 방문해 ‘행정수도건설특별법’ 제정안의 조속한 처리를 위한 전방위적 입법 지원 요청에 나섰다.
최근 타 지자체의 행정통합 관련 법안들이 속도를 내고 있는 것과 달리, 세종시의 핵심 현안인 행정수도특별법은 여전히 국회 법안소위에 상정조차 되지 못하고 있는 상황을 타개하기 위한 행보다.
최 시장은 이날 국토교통위원회 소속이자 해당 법안을 공동 발의한 엄태영 의원을 만나 오는 30일 예정된 국토법안심사소위에서 제정안이 반드시 논의될 수 있도록 발의자로서 적극적인 관심을 가져달라고 요청했다.
