돌나라한농강재는 3월 25일 보도자료에서 “지난 12일에 경북 청송군 안덕면 안파로 33-1에 거주하는 한은화 씨의 낡은 지붕을 무료로 씌워주는 ‘농가주택 지붕개량 지원사업’ 무료봉사를 진행했다”고 밝혔다. 이번 봉사활동은 지역민의 취약 농가를 안덕면 복지과의 추천을 받아 봉사활동을 진행하였는데, 집주인 한은화 씨는 “오래된 지붕 때문에 걱정이 많았는데 돌나라강재에서 많은 분들이 오셔서 지붕개량을 해주셔서 큰 힘이 된다”며 감사의 마음을 전했다.
이번 봉사활동을 후원한 (사)돌나라한농복구회 정석동 대표는 “농촌 지역에는 아직도 주거환경 개선이 필요한 가정들이 적지 않다”며 “앞으로도 농가를 위한 지속적인 봉사활동과 지원사업을 통해 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔을 실천해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
돌나라한농강재는 경북 청송군을 비롯하여 전국 5곳에 공장을 두고 있으며, 해마다 각 지역의 취약 농가들의 지붕개량 봉사활동을 진행하고 있다.
