<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시가 침체된 지역 경제의 맥박을 다시 뛰게 하고 소상공인과 상생하는 ‘상권친화형 도시’로 거듭나기 위한 밑그림 다지기에 본격 돌입했다.
포천시는 지난 26일 시청 시정회의실에서 김종훈 부시장 주재로 ‘포천시 상권친화형 도시 조성사업 실행계획 수립 연구용역’ 중간보고회를 개최했다고 27일 밝혔다.
이번 용역은 관내 상권 전반의 현주소를 냉철하게 분석하고 구조적인 문제점을 짚어내, 현장에서 제대로 작동할 수 있는 실효성 높은 중장기 종합발전 청사진을 그리기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 보고회에서는 핵심 과제로 ▲지역 상권별 맞춤형 특성 분석 및 현안 도출 ▲소상공인 원스톱 지원센터 구축 방안 ▲상권의 지속 가능한 성장을 이끌 대표 킬러 문화콘텐츠 개발 ▲상인들의 든든한 자립 기반이 될 자산화 전략 등이 심도 있게 다뤄졌다.
김종훈 부시장은 “이번 연구용역은 벼랑 끝에 내몰린 지역 상권의 자생력을 키우고, 시민과 소상공인 모두가 피부로 체감할 수 있는 진정한 상권친화 도시를 만드는 핵심 관문”이라며, “현장의 생생한 목소리와 전문가의 날카로운 자문을 십분 반영해 포천시만의 여건에 딱 맞는 맞춤형 실행계획을 완성하겠다”고 강한 의지를 내비쳤다.
한편, 포천시는 이번 중간보고회에서 논의된 내용을 바탕으로 수정 및 보완을 거쳐 오는 5월 1일 연구용역을 최종 마무리하고 본격적인 상권 살리기 프로젝트에 착수할 방침이다.
