<브레이크뉴스 포천 = 김형렬 기자> 포천시 포천동 청소년지도협의회가 새 학기를 맞은 지역 학생들의 안전하고 쾌적한 학교생활을 돕기 위해 대대적인 캠페인에 팔을 걷어붙였다.
포천동 청소년지도협의회는 지난 26일 아침 포천초등학교 정문 일대에서 지역사회 민관이 하나로 뭉친 ‘청소년 보호 캠페인’을 성황리에 실시했다고 27일 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 포천초등학교 학부모 및 교직원, 재학생, 포천경찰서, 파출소, 포천동 행정복지센터 직원 등 무려 60여 명이 대거 참여해 촘촘한 지역사회 청소년 안전망의 위상을 과시했다.
참여자들은 활기찬 등교 시간에 맞춰 학생들에게 물티슈와 볼펜 등 정성껏 준비한 홍보 물품을 배부하며 학교폭력 예방의 중요성을 따뜻하게 건넸다. 또한, 현수막과 피켓을 동원한 시각적 홍보 활동을 병행해 등굣길 학생들과 시민들의 이목을 집중시키며 큰 호응을 얻었다.

권보경 포천동 청소년지도협의회장은 “새 학기 낯선 환경과 교우 관계로 남몰래 어려움을 겪는 학생들이 있을 수 있다”며, “이번 캠페인이 우리 아이들에게 언제든 기댈 수 있는 든든한 울타리가 지역사회에 있다는 것을 알려주는 따뜻한 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
